Find The Energy You Need To Succeed
Living a realized life is tiring. But you will never burn out.
What I am going to share, I don’t have scientific data to back up. All I have is my own experience in living out my realized life and observing others who are doing the same.
In observing the steps over the years to live out a realized life for individuals, families, organizations and communities, here are some insights into avoiding burn out.
The moment someone gets clear on why they’re here, a switch turns on in them. I see it happen every time someone clarifies their purpose. This happens for families, organizations and communities. This switch turns on several things that laid dormant.
- A focused desire to serve
- A deep emotional connection to those around them.
- A willingness to step beyond the ordinary and into something extraordinary.
A Focused Desire To Serve
When someone clarifies their purpose, even though they may have been serving already, they now know why they serve. This alone brings tremendous energy into play that you can draw upon to realize your purpose, day in and day out.
A Deep Emotional Connection
In clarifying your purpose, you immediately recognize the specific need in others that you can help answer. This positions you as an engaged support to those around you. When you are able to connect to the need you answer in others, you discover meaning, hope and life. Knowing why you’re here and the need you answer, brings simplicity.
This allows you to focus on what matters most, saving you energy by not being distracted. I know for myself that distractions drain energy so quickly, that I am left with sometimes nothing to give.
A Willingness To Step Into The Extraordinary
This is where life begins. It’s in stepping out to realize your purpose, serving where you’re needed and wanted, and connecting with those around you in a deep meaningful way, that allows you to draw on reserves that were never available before. When you step out to serve and realize your purpose you get what you need to finish the job. I have experienced this time and time again. I’ve seen it happen with others. Here something extraordinary is happens. What you need shows up to help you serve others. It’s here where you discover your value and the depth of contribution you’re meant to bring.
When you’re being valued you can go all day long. You will be tired, but not depleted. You will have joy.
Realizing your purpose, where you’re meant to be, in what you’re meant to do:
- Sustains you
- Energizes you
- Challenges you
Sustains You
Realizing your purpose is nurturing for you and those around you. It’s life giving.
Energizes You
When you’re valued you can go all day long. This is where I have experienced “Earning my rest”.
Challenges You
Realizing your purpose encourages growth. Boredom can not set in when you’re where you’re meant to be, doing what you’re meant to do. There is always interest, variety and scope.
If you find yourself burnt out, with nothing more to give, stop and take account. Ask yourself if you are really needed and wanted where you’re spending so much of your time, resources and energy. If you are burnt out, I guarantee you are being devalued. Be where you’re needed and wanted. Be valued by stepping out to realize your purpose and watch something extraordinary happen. You’ll be tired but never burnt out.
What burns you out?
In recognizing this, you’ll be able to stop, change course and re-focus on what matters most. You’ve simply become distracted. Clarify your purpose. I’d love to help. You’ll find the energy and strength needed as you’re valued for your contribution in all you do, everywhere you are.
